Help For Landowners (HFL) is committed to creating new opportunities to assist historically marginalized (i.e., minority) landowners and communities not traditionally reached. HFL field staff have participated in workshops to  increase awareness of diverse land ownership in the southeast. Our next step is to identify specific partnering opportunities for staff to engage historically marginalized landowners & communities, address individual needs, expand the knowledge of landowner assistance programs, and increase awareness for land stewardship and its benefits to species conservation.

US Fish & Wildlife Service
GOALS -
  • Help us learn more about your properties, priorities, and needs; in turn, you can learn about us!

  • We will provide helpful information related to HFL financial assistance programs that can benefit you and your lands and identify assistance opportunities from other organizations!

  • We can work with you to identify opportunities with natural resource agency staff on project development!

  • Together, we can better understand potential collaborative opportunities that will benefit you, the landowner, and improve habitat and conserve wildlife…a win-win!
